There, he meets the authentic Sicilian winemaker Arianna Occhipinti. We are thrilled to bring you this 100% Nero d’avola "Siccagno." Arianna began her winmaking journey at the impressionable age of 16, working on her uncle’s vineyard in Sicily. After studying viticulture and oenology in Milan, counter-intuitive, since everything she had learned from her uncle clashed with what she was being taught in school, she returned to Sicily. Today, the 40+ year old has her own plots of the land in Vittoria, Sicily, which she reviatalized over a decade. Siccagno is an incredibly elegant Sicilian wine that’s sure to be a staple for any celebration.
